of course, but as usual, you miss the point.

apple silicon is a *significant* step forward, not an incremental one.

one simple example out of many is the ability to run ios apps on apple
silicon macs, something that's impossible on an intel mac, thereby
adding nearly 2 million apps to one's coffers.

nothing substantial and severely crippled by intel's incompetence, plus
any future intel macs have been in the pipeline for a while.

nobody said the whole range.

apple stated the transition would take two years.

history indicates it will be complete in about one year, with the bulk
of it likely within six months.
