no.

i want a choice so that people can choose what works best for them. 

why is this so hard to understand?  

*you* can set it to install everything if that's what *you* want. not
everyone wants that.

meanwhile, myself and many others will set it to install only ipad
native apps on ipads.

and it has nothing to do with being lazy. why should someone waste
bandwidth downloading something that will ultimately be deleted? it
slows down the downloads for the other devices (plus it uses up the
user's data cap if they have one).
