I've been on Usenet since the 1990s. I have made many friends here
over the years. Sadly, for good or bad, I have never met any of them
face-to-face. All communications were through this device/medium
called writing. Word after word after WORD after ...youKnow.

Nowadays, Usenet posters/authors can also provide detailed web sites.

Physics is my life, not my livelihood. Mahipal is my name, so my
parents tell me. I can still hear my grandmother calling for me out
loud in the echoing empty village streets. Smartestphones@# hadn't
been invented yet. 

Mahipal is a ancient Sanskrit name/word with a specific meaning. It's
googleable. While growing up in USA, I nicknamed my self Paul, from
the last three letters pal in my name. Had to, most Americans were
pronunciation challenged. Pal means moment, as in time. Pal Pal is two
moments. Pal pal PAL is 3. Doing the Math, in sum, life is short.

As a rule, just because others use pseudonyms, does not mean we all
do. Case in point: A poster who goes by Raven had to presume Mahipal
was a made up pseudonym since his obviously was/is. Projection happens.

My past posting digitalID addresses were not limited to Google.
Will this GoogleBashing ever end?! The medium is not the message.
