The light curve of a star has nothing to do with the curvature of spacetime
that causes light to describe curved trajectories in 3-space.

Instead, it is the curve drawn of the intensity of the light of a star as
visible to the observer (and their instruments). So if a planet moves in
front of the star as seen by the observer, there is a small but measurable
reduction in the intensity of the star’s light, visualized as a drop, or
valley, in the star’s light curve. This allows astronomers to find
exoplanets (also: extrasolar planets), those in orbit around stars other
than the Sun (Sol) – about 2000 by now.

See also: <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Light_curve> pp.

No, but now you can add planet hunting to the already very long list of what
you have not the slightest clue about.
