You are the nym-shifter, today it's "Bobby." Who will you be tomorrow? You are like the lonely left out loser sitting at a bar, overhearing others having a fun heated discussion time. Then you walk up to them and cry: "Mapihal, and you all just stop talking to eachother!" "Bobby," go read somebody else you find useful. Go discuss with them. Nobody is forcing you to read anything I might write. Adios! -- Mahipal "Mapihal will notice if anybody ever interacts with you."

Unlike you Stalker Boy, I can both read and write. I wrote none of
that gibberish you feel like attributing to some fictional "Mapihal."
It's "Mike" in the "Smith" series of psycho names now. Still not cute.
We, speaking on behalf of this NG's Usenet Community, know very well
how you stalk my friend Porat too. Hate is your bread. Eat Mike Eat!

Regards to gay people -- male, female, or otherwise -- they can just keep it in their Supreme Court(==SCOTUS, SCROTUM, WHATEVER) pants, panties, or robes! I've lived in NYC, where there are more gays in any spatial volume smaller than a Policeman can toss a helpless teenager out of her chair, where she is bored out of her mind by the insane Algebra Teacher. Hell, who wouldn't be bored?! Now it's "Maple Hall" and I should learn to ignore his desperate attempts to come out of his gayest closet. Move to NYC Bitch! Stop giving gay people a bad psychotic name. That they do not deserve. The sad part is, while living in NYC, I had to turn down more sex offers than a mathematician can count. Why sad? Well most none of them were women! So, when it comes to sex, I'm going very Newtonian! -- Mahipal "My friends, died they have, used to call me Lapiham. Guess why?"

Yes discussion, not name calling. It wouldn't have anything to do with sprinkling, or shoveling, some AGW-activism into the mix, would it? Trying to provoke discussion between others can look a lot like trolling. If the intent is to excuse one's self from the discussion, to delight in the "power" to start fights between others, and enjoy the "show," then this description may be accurate: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_troll the 2014 study suggested that the noxious personality characteristics known as the "dark triad of personality" should be investigated in the analysis of trolling, and concluded that trolling appears "to be an Internet manifestation of everyday sadism." > As in any population, there is a percentage that suffer from mental > illness or obsessive behaviors. It isn't working. In fact, the more you do it the more it fails. What physics-related discussion does occur in sci.physics is almost NEVER in threads you start. Consider abandoning your strategy of copy-and-pasting article fragments on a limited list of topics from a limited list of publications and offering no commentary of your own. Instead, consider posting what _you_ think on a particular topic that is, or in your opinion should be, of interest to others here. Consider explaining _why_ that topic should be of interest. In other words, to start a discussion, offer _your_ arguments pro and/or con on a particular topic and seek the thoughts of others. Defend your position(s), if you can, but don't farm it out to YouTube videos done by others. Speak in *your* voice. That's what nearly everyone else here does. Yes, it gets rough at times, but you're an adult. Handle it. Look Sam, I'm an Aspie (look it up). We're congenitally not very good at initiating and holding conversations with others on ANY topic, yet I have no fear of doing so and if I may say so, am reasonably good at it. You see, in my 62 years I've learned to mimic most of the neurotypicals' conversational skill set. Sometimes, others here (and in real life) even mistake me for normal. What's holding *you* back, Sam? You obviously have sufficient spare time, and sufficient interest, to post on a variety of topics. Open up, let others know what you think. You *do* have some thoughts of your own, don't you? Mark L. Fergerson

Yes, that was fun. > What I really want to know is... is the very last statement correct? Wellllll... some Aspies might, but then they probably don't know a lot of Aspies. It's not as if we're likely to form a club, you see. > :>) You probably recognize that page to be derivative (I don't consider it a ripoff) of Jeff Foxworthy's "You might be a Redneck if..." jokes. As part of my effort to emulate neurotypicals, at one point in my life I owned a fairly Redneck 1970 Chevy pickup truck. 5 liter V-8, blown out cherry bomb mufflers, two different colors of paint on the cab and bed, tire chain instead of tailgate, and so on. I drove to a mall parking lot to meet my stepdaughter so we could find a birthday gift for my wife (her mother) and when I got there she had the top down on her car. She was on her cellphone with Foxworthy doing his routine on her CD player. I leaned on the front fender of my truck and tried to dig the wax out of my right ear with my ignition key. Just then Foxworthy said "If you've ever tried to dig the wax out of your ears with your pickup truck keys, youuuuu just might be a Redneck". I dropped my keys in shock and my stepdaughter, who was watching me, dropped her phone and literally fell out of her car laughing. I've stopped wondering why people put up with me. Mark L. Fergerson

I sort of treat it as a daily digest of a bunch of sites I'd read completely had I the time. (No, I don't have a lot of spare time. I run a small department in a large software company.)
