You should investigate how the city charter can be amended to create an all powerful mayor, so that when you assume that office, you can accomplish your goals.  Probably only an initiative petition is required and collecting sufficient signatures to put the measure on the citywide ballot.  Have an attorney draw it up so the courts don't later find an excuse to throw it out.  Then get yourself elected mayor, and you'll be in business!

Fullerton is a general law city, which means they do not have a city
charter and most of the laws are state laws.

Changing how the city operates is a non-trivial endeavor that takes
a LOT more than an initiative petition.

Current issues in Fullerton are hiring more police and fire fighters,
police oversight, and graffiti.

There is no one there wailing "Think of the children".

Jim If Fullerton is so rich where is the free summer camps? Its so very hot I see familiesw spending all day at the Civic Center pool.When I was 12 I went to a very nice boys camp in Maine for the summer.It was free,and had great food. That was in 1940 TreBert

Here's a flash for you; modern kids have little to no interest in cabins
in the woods.

Among other things, Fullerton has the Fullerton ChildrenJ<s Repertory Theater,
which this year sent the kids to France. I'm sure the food in France was
better then what you got in the Maine woods.

This could be an easy win for me. 3 City council people are dropping out.Ive been passing out Chief Grey cloud and giving it to voters only with my card.Plus my van will have Vote for GLAZIER in 3 big signs parked at library,Senior Center ,along all the main streets.I will give out my G=EMC^2 at all churches and at Catholic church my letters from the Vatican from two Popes.
