No. Kinetic energy has no direction.

You are getting concepts all jumbled together because you don’t know what
any of them mean.

As usual.

But they do! Just not what you GUESS they might mean. Heaven forbid you
should actually READ what the concepts mean.

Odd
“But they do! “
But you can’t explain them simply with words, can you?
‘Directionless kinetic energy’, for instance.
How can something move, but not move?
If that energy is keeping the electrons AWAY from the proton, how is it ‘directionless’?

Explain simply in words (he won’t)

Why are my products—or for that matter, anything about what I do for a
living—be relevant for physics?

Is what you do to put food on the table relevant?

Good point, why should what you, or anyone else, do for a living, be physics-relevant.

It even matters where the ideal table is put in spacetime.

Well, in a way, we all, at any age, have physics thrust upon us.
Somewhere I read "Physics is that what physicists do."

Thanks John. I've mostly been in read-only mode. When recently, guys
like MM, stated they've interacted in sci physics for 25+ years...
It just made me think why time flies so fast for all. So I posted today.

It's kind of nice to be thought of, happy new times to you too BenjJi!

I've just been reading here as of late. Thinking what do and will
people write/discuss here. Extremely contemplative I, pondering why?

One thing that stands out, is that people seem to interact with only,
well mostly, with just the nearest to realtime posts. Like a pulse.

Welcome back Mahipal! always enjoyed your urls

we have a few new brain dead trolls from other troll newsgroups that are
posting junk in here now, so the place has moved away from physics even
more. sci.physics has one of the highest rates of posting, guess their
group is dying off.

Double thanks SergioJi! Technically, I never left. I've been reading
your posts. Keep up the good words.

My urls are, by now, are frozen in time. I haven't changed or added to
them at all. I figure I'd make a terrible podcaster/blogger who might
have to post daily. Like everyone at CNN, MSNBC, FOX, ... frantically
deciphering Trump's latest lie. It's a life to get the proverbial meal
to one's table. It's funny curious how physics leads to nuclear
weapons and then politicians place the fear of using them on people.

For a while, I didn't know what acronym ROS stood for. A river never does.
The river just keeps flowing and flowing...

So what you're suggesting is that there exist usenet newsgroups
dedicated to trollisms only? Interesting. I remember when I first
started interacting in sci.physics and I held higher/educational
expectations of it. Well I was in college then.

Long justification short, it doesn't matter if one posts using their
real name or is anonymous. It only matters what the contents of the
words used to render any message are. Focus on content, the
friendships will follow.

Hi PoratJi. You're right too, that honesty by anonymity is rare.

I remember an anonymous poster (his name withheld for even he doesn't
care, may he feel safe and secure forever) tried to accuse me of being
anonymous. He was projecting. His reasoning went like this:
If I'm anonymous then so must everyone else be.

Googling the two words (push, gravity) yields:

About 84,100,000 results (0.53 seconds)
Gravity is a Push | Odd Books
oddbooks.com/oddbooks/wcwright.html

As its title suggests, this book expounds a theory that the force of
gravity is a push rather than a pull. This is not an idea invented by
Wright - a Frenchman named ...

Where am I going to have/find time to read 84.1 million results?!

The website https://oddbooks.co.uk/oddbooks/wcwright.html states:

"As its title suggests, this book expounds a theory that the force of
gravity is a push rather than a pull. This is not an idea invented by
Wright - a Frenchman named George-Louis LeSage is usually credited
with coming up with the first version of it in 1784."

I've always enjoyed discussing whether ideas either discovered or invented.

Actually, Fatio came up with it before LeSage.

My addition is basically that it is the matter, itself, that provides these ‘ultra mundane particles’. They come from the electrons radiating.
The objection to electrons radiating is they will run out of energy.
One of the objections to Fatio/LeSage is the matter that absorbs will quickly have TOO MUCH energy.
Hmm.
Seems like the protons just have to feed it back to the electrons and it’s all good

Umm, no. Now you have something different from LeSage gravity. LeSage
gravity has 'ultra mundane particles' coming uniformly from OUTSIDE, and
since they purportedly provide the energy of gravitation, they must
provide energy to mass when they are absorbed. Too much energy. Now you
purportedly have matter radiating 'ultra mundane particles'/energy (which
would push everything apart!), something completely different. It can sort
of work if your radiation has negative momentum (allowing matter to
attract) but now what you have is essentially standard gravity with an
unnecessary dynamic radiation layered on top of it. Gravity, if viewed as
a force (GR says it isn't), is static, there is no need for any radiation
of negative momentum to implement it. All the radiation adds is a
complication of where all this unnecessary magic energy comes from and
where does it go.

Not to mention all kinds of stuff you simply ignore. What about neutrons?
They are affected by gravity somewhat more than protons. You don't even
mention neutrons at all, even though they contribute more than half the
mass of non-hydrogen ordinary matter!

What about the fact that electrons are affected by gravity less than
protons (by a factor of 1800!) ? And what about other particles,
antimatter and energy itself? Gravity affects all energy, not just
electrons and protons.

What about free/isolated electrons and protons?

What is _electric_ force? Electrons and protons attract each other much
more strongly than gravitation, as well as repel themselves.

(No, I don't expect any real answer for any of this. All you do is pull
crap from your butt, fling it against the wall and hope it sticks, not
applying any actual thought)

You'd have to ask LeSage, but he's dead.

It appears that he intended that they're from infinitely far away, but it
should 'work' as long as they come from well outside the region of the
gravitating bodies. That is, if it worked at all (it doesn't).
