All of them are failures of physics which begs the question, why so much time spent in sci.physics? A normal person failing physics or finding it too difficult moves onto something else in life. But no, some failures are crazy along with failing, and so they run to sci.physics to deposit their mind rot. 

Moroney and McGinn are the classical failures but lack the intelligence to move on, and with McGinn talk of weather, the goofball has not enough sense to realize he should be in sci.geo.meteorology, not sci.physics. 

Benj is a pernicious failure of physics for he hates science altogether-- a anti-science twerp. So pernicious that he issued a death threat on AP.

Moroney's et al mode of operation is stalking, who identify people to attack and then just say the opposite of whatever the author says. Stalking itself is a form of insanity, and Moroney is doing it now for almost 24 years. They stalk incessantly. They are depressed and their posts are depressing. McGinn threatens the entire board with his spam pollution treadmill, he recycles his posts of over a year old just to fill the front page. He is a veritable frontpage-saturation-klutz. Mind you, the twit talks endlessly about weather yet this is sci.physics. The twit when asked to experiment with a IR thermometer to verify Greenhouse Effect shrugged that off, as if science is pontification, his pontification never any experiment. McGinn is a huge huge menace to sci.physics. McGinn is such a moron of science that he denies Global Warming. 

I have found Google Abuse Reports a valuable tool and have often reported McGinn so as to never see those repeating threads "hidden from view". It takes but 2 minutes per day to hide from view the McGinn front page saturation, along with several other nutters. And because of McGinn's persistent desire to flood the front page, I opine he is insane. 

Porat is a huge huge menace to science, all science and any form of science. Porat is posting from Israel and perhaps a Jew. His posts have no science content. His game is stealing. And the way he plays it (or Porat a robot with manhandlers). Their stealing game is to declare some stupid silly Archive somewhere,, anywhere,, some dumb archive, so they claim. So they post baby talk, and when they see a poster with good science talk, they invade that poster thread, and claim the Gentile author stole their science from Porat's archive. The stealing game is -- get entangled-- and when the Gentile dies, regurgitate that work-with some changes and claim a Jew did it all. In a different thread, I ask the question of whether this is the new modern day version of how Jews steal the works and ideas from Gentiles-- some mystery archive and attack on other posters claiming they stole from the Porat baby talk. Evil, evil, wicked evil.

meltdown.  Apparently his mind has rotted to the point where he cannot write
a new meltdown, so he spams forth his old one, again and again.  He even counts

Normally I will let Archie make a fool of himself in peace, like what I
have mostly done ever since he first showed up here. However he now seems
to insist on starting multiple new topics with the express purpose of
attacking and badmouthing me and others.  No science, not even what passes
for science in his mind, just deliberate attacks. So I just throw it right
back at him and point out all his own failures.

In a way I appreciate him. He's one of the first crackpots to infest
groups like sci.physics.  I have learned a lot on how the crackpot mind
seems to operate from him (initially) and others, and I happen to find it
rather interesting.

Another complaint over a "alleged electrical engineer" like that of Mike Moroney who cannot tell the difference between solar and geothermal.

Mind asking this second EE, if he can tell the difference between solar and geothermal, or is there some sort of "mind block for EE's". Maybe EE's look at geothermal as a swarm of protons inside Earth with no electrons and only as Sun shines on Earth with light and electrons that geothermal is accomplished.

But to tell you the truth, I do not believe Moroney when he says he is a EE. A failed EE, just as a failed in physics, is my opinion.

Stupid Archie, all those isotopes have halflives of days or less,
any present when the earth was formed is now long gone.
Real geothermal scientists will tell you that the geothermal heat from
radionuclides comes from thorium, uranium and potassium-40, all with
halflives of billions of years, so there is actually still some around.
Of course you can whine that there are isotopes in the U and Th decay
chains with short half-lives, but those are produced by the next item
up in the chain and considered part of the Th or U energy. Of the ones
you list, only Bi-210 qualifies.
