If you had the money you claim to have or an actual business you would not be eligible for Medicaid. Now we know why you came to California when you fled the bill collectors on the east coast; California heavily supports Medicaid. -- Jim Pennino

except on houses more than 40 years old, (for lead Paint.)
Lead Pipes:
the other problem is old lead water pipes on feeders to houses built
before 1950
Lead pipes are most commonly found in service lines connecting the
water mains to homes.
Use of lead pipes mostly stopped in the 1950s.
Most cities replace lead pipes they find when they are replacing
water mains.
Homeowners are typically responsible for replacing lead pipes from
the shut-off to their home.

If your house is old enough to have lead pipes, you likely need to replace them because the calcium carbonate is restricting the flow. -- Jim Pennino

(about 1978 house, with hard water) The line goes down into the slab. Any ideas of how to clean it out ? could I set up a small pump with vinegar and recycle it from that point ( out of hot water heater) to where the washer is for a few hours ? that is about 18 feet, Im assuming the calcium deposeted on the first cooler part of the copper pipe as it comes out of the water heater... any ideas?

Lead from shot was to protect the birds, but banning lead paint on bridges was to protect loons like HVAC who go around sucking on bridges.
