Yes, HVAC,
Canada is safe sitting right on the USA
north border.
Plus, living in the cold is really enjoyable.
Really!
------------

John, it's long been my goal to annex both Canada and Mexico into a United States of North America. It's got a nice ring to it.

And don't forget that I live in nh which shares a border with Canada. So, ya... We know about cold

He lies. His idea is to join the entire world in to a massive Fourth

Thank you, Mr Hanson

I was withholding judgement on Custard before making my final determination to what clique to assign him in this group.

As always I was my typical polite self up until he chose to align with the kook faction and insult me.

geriatric, shizoid mental patient, who confessed
on 19-5-2016, that _ "Maleki is talking bullshit"_
which was snipped cuz all that Maleki really

Nope. Scientists go through the physics and math and essentially say, "If
gravity waves exist according to how General Relativity predicts, then two
orbiting black holes radiatinhg gravitational waves will do *this*". (it is
actually a complicated computer simulation, but it will come up with
specific behavior given initial conditions). Along comes a signal that just
happens to look like one of those simulations, and the scientists go back to
their computers and work until they can figure out the exact initial
conditions that happen to match what they saw. When they did that, they
announce they found something, because they actually saw something.

Similarly, a (much simpler) theory predicts antimatter is repelled by matter
gravitationally. That predicts that antimatter will fall up. However, here
is the difference. So far we don't have a chunk of antimatter that we can
reliably observe falling up or down yet. So the situations are not the
same. The answer has not come in yet for antimatter, while we do have (at
least) one observation of gravitational waves.

BTW when they did the gravity wave announcement, I did a web search to see
what they would sound like if converted to audio. I found several - just
about all of them were created long _before_ the announcement or even the
observation. These are simply scientists who did the physics and computer
simulations of black hole pairs, and without the help of any actual
gravity wave observations. *That* is equivalent to the current state of
whether antimatter falls up or not.

Has it occurred to anyone that gravitational waves might orbit or fall into those black holes that same way light waves do?

Gravitational waves are ripples in space-time, not pieces on matter
or energy carried by Fermions or Bosons. the gravitational wave just
   ripple right through.

Gravity is unshielded, even by black holes.
