If the process were economical, it would already be being done. Also, hydrogen combustion, unless you also capture the oxygen, which increases costs, and exclude air from the combustion, produces HUGE amounts of nitrogen oxides (smog) because of the high combustion temperature of hydrogen. -- Jim Pennino

H2 storage is a huge problem, there are small tanks for cars and some refueling stations, but not for large factories from what I can tell. If you liquify it, how much more energy does that take ? and if you have 100,000 of liquid H2 in a large underground tank, in downtown Anaheim could that be a safety hazard? would people think it is a safety hazard ? (just pump the water uphill)
