IH is saying they can't get home ECats certified. Something about no one qualified to oversee them. Want me to search for it for you?

The company promises that all you need to do is leave the car parked outside in the sun during the day. Let's say that it had no shippable cars but it had two or three prototypes that were in the hands of business partners for testing. Let's say that it was taking pre-orders and drumming up interest and investors. Then one day this company announces that it may not be able to ship cars after all, because despite all the quality engineers that have produced this awesome technology, nobody in the company seems qualified to have the car pass mandatory highway safety tests that all other car companies do as a routine. Nor does the company seem able to find anyone to hire that has any experience getting cars to pass mandatory highway safety tests, despite the fact that the market obviously has such talent. Now, in this situation, does this cause you to squint with doubt at the car company, or does it cause you to rant against the evil forces that are suppressing innovation? I can tell you, there are con-men in the world that are counting on the people that belong to the latter. -- Odd Bodkin --- maker of fine toys, tools, tables

Odd- here yiou go; is this fake? "Andrea Rossi and Leonardo Corporation receive its first ECAT patent in the United States from the US Patent and Trademark Office, USPTO. See ECAT Patents or external link to ECAT Patent at USPTO. The Patent covers the ECAT as a Fluid Heater based on the Rossi Effect in all its details. Since the Rossi Effect is the main source of energy of the ECAT, this means that the ECAT Core Technology is protected by this patent. The Rossi Effect is based on the exothermal reaction between Lithium and Hydrogen which is catalyzed by Nickel or any other Group 10 element in the Periodic Table, including Palladium and Platinum. The Rossi Effect is a new type of high energy density LENR based exothermal process discovered by Andrea Rossi. - See more at: http://ecat.com/news/e-cat-patent-granted-by-uspto#.dpuf "

Odd From the article above: > Without superconductivity, the pursuit of fusion energy would be > impossible. Superconductors consume less power and are cheaper to > operate than conventional counterparts, while carrying higher current > and producing stronger magnetic fields. So, Odd. Without super conductivity hot fusion is impossible? How much energy has been produced by hot fusion? How much money has been spent trying to get more out than they put in? Why do you have no issues with that? Whose money is being spent on that? Whose money is being spent on Rossi's endeavors? Why do you have no issues with billions being spent on something that hasn't worked yet, while Rossi has already sold a working 1 MW ECat which has been running for 6 months and has not yet been re-fueled? (And won't be for another six months.) I don't understand you, Odd. Are you a shill for those in power (oil interests)? I just don't understand you

orted "Rossi claims that the device produces massive amounts of excess heat that can be used to produce electricity, but independent attempts to reproduce the effect have failed." This statement is completely false. Third-party verification has confirmed LENR. Why won't Wiki allow this to be changed? Because they are controlled propaganda, that's why. A Rossi device ran for 34 days and was monitored every conceivable way. Wiki LIES.

A lot more money than "a few billion" have been spent since 1950 on hot fusion. A billion was spent in just one project, way back. Talk about con artists- several have been found making hot fusion claims over the years. I think that 64 years is enough. On the up-side- lots of science has been learned about plasma fields and magnets!

On what basis do you say 64 years is enough? Gregor Mendel came up with his laws of genetics in 1865. 64 years after that would have been 1929. You would have cut off funding for what causes genetics 24 years before Crick and Watson figured out what DNA is and 60 years before people started making real inroads to turning that technology into practical applications. > On the up-side- lots of science has > been learned about plasma fields and > magnets! > -- Odd Bodkin --- maker of fine toys, tools, tables

Odd So- what criterion are you using to decide that hot fusion should be funded an d cold fusion should not be funded?
