It's a sad state of affairs, when a man can't even buy a fuckin' coal shovel. Do you reckon any other kinda shovel would work? On a related note, I broke a rake a few days ago. The head just snapped right off the handle. I paid extra to get one with a fiberglass handle so it would last, but they used a wooden peg to attach the rake head to the handle, and that part broke clean off, so there really wasn't any reason to use a fiberglass handle in the first place, other than to make people think they were buying a properly designed higher quality tool than they actually were... but that's the world we live in. -- Checkmate ® Author, Humorist, Cynic Philosopher, Humanitarian Poet, Elektrishun to the Stars Usenet Shot-Caller Copyright © 2018 all rights reserved In loving memory of The Battle Kitten May 2010-February 12, 2017 "There are many here among us, who feel that life is but a joke." Now they're bitching about all their health problems and being retired and tired and achy and needing lots of help with taking out the trash and cooking and floor mopping while the big oldest brother, though technically retired, still does all the yard chores himself, cooks for hisself, and can mow an acre with a push mower and have enough energy to work full time at startup leading an engineering team and then come home and cut, split and stack a 75 foot maple.
