From official local records from Prague Klementinum in Czech Republic
in Central Europe, keeping the measurement serie
for 230 years since 1775:

2015 was the warmest year for the whole period.
2014 was the 2nd warmest year for the whole period.
Within the 17 warmest years of the whole period,
all but 3 were from the recent period of the last 25 years.

Interestingly the Central England Temperature record kept by
Hadley dating from 1659 is not as consistent as that.

Certainly 2015 has registered the warmest at 9.7C on average for
the 12 m of the year, but No 2 spot is 1974 at 8.1C.
The much-touted 1998 is #81 in the CET record.

Precise continuous records for atm methane began ~1987 (MLO).  At that
time the annual avg value was around 1700 ppb.  Levels have risen more
or less steadily at about 4 ppb each year since.  At the end of 2014
they had reached 1860 ppb.

From the modern CH4 record we can determine for each ppb the global 
avg temp has risen around .003C +- 10% at 90% confidence.

   erosion in coastal areas are additional concerns.
