Except there is little to no available oxygen, nitrogen, or water on
Mars, all the carbon is in CO2 and there is no readily available power
or fuel to do anything on Mars.

Most synthetic materials come from petroleum, which doesn't exist on
Mars.

The Sun is dim on Mars because it is a long way away and that has
nothing to do with the Earth.
