Everyone else around here had the same experience. I have never heard anyone anywhere complaining that it is a fraction of a degree warmer than it was 30 years ago. > Earth's Energy Imbalance > The earth is absorbing more energy from the sun than it's giving > up due to increasing greenhouse gas concentrations. The excess > energy that the planet is absorbing is enormous. The total energy > imbalance now is 0.58 ? 0.15 W/m^2. An obvious lie. 1. You have been quoting the same number for years; no natural process maintains the exact same number for years. 2. If the planet was absorbing this constant energy rate for years as you have been claiming, the planet would have been constantly getting hotter and it hasn't been. 3. Your imbalance numbers fail to account for the fact that photosynthesis converts light energy into chemical energy. If there were not some imbalance, the planet would be a lifeless rock. -- Jim Pennino
