A DUI with no injuries starts at about $3,000, jail time, an alcohol treatment program (about $500), loss of license for at least 30 days, a driving restriction of 2 to 5 months for driving to/from work or the treatment program. That's for the first conviction and it gets worse on subsequent convictions, injury or death, or a blood level over 0.15%. -- Jim Pennino
