Ralph, yes that is a simple enough experiment. The results are that the
OW speed of light from a moving object is always measured as c, never c+v.

So why do you delude yourself with DirtyBaThWater, Ralph?

Ralph, Paul Andersen has repeatedly directed to his list of experients
that validate SR and GR. Many demonstrate the speed of light emitted from
a moving object is always measured as c.

Ralph, any time anyone directs you to Paul's list, you never read them
but simply poo-poo them as fake or something, and your reply to me will
certainly be no different. In other words, you ask for proof but when
given the proof you refuse to even read it.

Paul Andersen has amassed a nice collection of fairy tales....just as
his great grandfather Hans did 150 years ago.

See what I mean, Ralph? *Exactly* as I predicted, you simply poo-poo the
experiments on Paul's list, calling them fairy tales, without ever reading
any of them.

You are so predictible, Ralph.

Just one, Ralph Malcolm Rabbidge? How about Filippas-Fox, Ralph?
https://paulba.no/paper/Filippas_Fox.pdf

Ralph Malcolm Rabbidge, this is the decay of a pi-0 meson moving at a
significant fraction of c into two gamma photons, Ralph. The photons move
in opposite directions in the rest frame of the meson. If one of the
photons is pretty much in the forward direction of the meson, Ralph,
it should be moving at close to 2c (speed of the meson + c, speed of the
photon) if DirtyBaThWater was valid, Ralph Malcolm Rabbidge. However,
the photons are always detected as moving at c, Ralph, thus invalidating
DirtyBaThWater. This disproves photons moving at c+v, Ralph. Ralph
Malcolm, if you actually read and understood this paper, Ralph, you would
have realized it invalidates DirtyBaThWater, Ralph. Instead you call it a
"fairy tale" without ever reading it, Ralph.

Idiot, their OW speeds were never measured accurately and the result is
meaningless anyway. If you read and understood the article you would
soon see that you need a calculator to count the number of assumptions
the authors made. They could have produced any answer they wanted.

The only truth that comes from experiments like this one is that the
best way to ensure future funding in the US is to publish something that
purports to support Einstein...it will be snapped up by any dingleberry
owned journal.

Ralph, why do you say that? What stopped them? What evidence is there
that they were stopped? Where are the reaction products of the
pi-0+<whatever stopped them> reactions? Why is the momentum of the
pi-0 decay gammas so much in the forward direction instead of being
radiated isotropically, Ralph?

How about listing a few of these assumptions, Ralph Malcolm Rabbidge?

Energy is a conserved quantity.

Were it not for friction, objects in motion would retain all their kinetic
energy (instead of exchanging it for heat) and continue moving forever.

In outer space, there is virtually nothing that could cause friction: outer
space is virtually *empty*. Why do we know that? Basically because we can
observe stars and galaxies that are very far away. If there would be
anything significant between them and us, we would not observe them as we
do.

Your argument is that of Aristotle (384–322 BCE): that a force would be
required to keep objects in motion.

But Isaac Newton already knew in 1687 (CE) that Aristotle was wrong, because
Aristotle never considered friction.

[Leonard Susskind humorously says in his “Classical Mechanics” lecture
(I am paraphrasing him): “Had Aristotle gone ice-skating, he would have
known that it is friction that slows down moving objects. But he lived
in Greece, so he never could go ice-skating.”]

> That's why there is a cosmic red shift roughly proportional to the
> source distance from Earth.

That is simply not true:

<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hubble%27s_law#redshift>

(read *all* of it)

> If the BB theory was correct, the observed red shift would not be
> symmetrical around our planet unless the Earth was the centre of the
> universe...

No. Please look at this animation I made on that subject (tested with
Chromium/Chrome):

<http://PointedEars.de/markup/xml/SVG/observable-universe.html>

This abstractly depicts *our* *observable* universe. But according to the
BB theory, everything is moving away from everything (metric expansion),
like the raisins in an expanding raisin bread:

<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metric_expansion_of_space#/media/File:Raisinbread.gif>

So the observed effect is the same for every observer in the universe (each
observer just sees different astronomical objects receding from them).

> which is what many good christians want to believe.

“Want to believe” is well-worded by you for a change. It shows that
different to science, belief is not at all grounded in observed fact, but
*only* in hearsay and wishful thinking. Conclusions drawn from it are
therefore inherently fallacious.
