Back before I had determined that the Galilean transformation equations were the correct equations, scientists were complaining to each other that more than half of the responses in sci.physics.relativity were addressed to me, showing how stupid I was. Once I posted the Galilean transformation equations with a proof that they were the correct equations, almost all responses to me ceased. This is the first discussion started by me that has had a significant number of responses since about 2005.

Now if you are happy with the definitions Isaac Newton gave for variables in that equation, we only have to consider one definition I gave. That was for the time of a slower clock in S', which I said was (t2)'. So if (t2)' is a positive time, then (v2) would be a positive velocity in the above equation if we substitute (v2)(t2)' for vt, because it is the same distance. There is no length contraction in the Galilean transformation equations.

So you want some form of the Galilean transformation equations from S' such that you are satisfied with all of the minus signs as far as velocities are concerned. But here is the thing. As long as x is the same distance as x in the first set of equations, and x' is the same distance as x' in the first equations, and (v2)(t2)' is the same distance as vt, then the equations are all right if the minus sign is the same as in the first equations because there is no length contraction in the Galilean transformation equations. So I just put the equations the same. You should be able to figure out for yourself that the lengths are correct. In the first set of equations S' is moving in the +x direction. In the second set of equations, S is moving in the -x direction.

Now, since experimentally, this equality does not end up holding, then what this tells you is that the Galilean transformations do not apply in reality. That is, the Galilean transformations specifically make this claim: "If you measure the time between two events in S, where a second in S is a certain number of oscillations of light in a certain transition of a cesium atom at rest in S, then this will end up equaling the time between the same two events but measured in S', where a second in S' is a certain number of oscillations of light in a certain transition of a cesium atom at rest in S'." Now, please read that claim several times over, until it is clear what the Galilean transformations are specifically saying. Now after you understand the claim being made, ask yourself whether this is a true statement or not.
