Dolan pointed out a link which states LIGO is sensitive to a range from 5 Hz to 20,000 Hz. Very similar to an audio amplifier. Consider a stereo amplifier from decades ago, made of discrete components, resistors, capacitors and transistors/tubes. Would you expect it to have a range from something like 5 Hz to 20,000 Hz, or would you expect it to reproduce a signal of 2.64 nanohertz faithfully as well? You have to consider the time constants of ALL R/C pairs. Including the power supply filter. And remember what its intended use was.

I will postulate that the famous LIGO gravity wave of 9/14/2015 was in fact a terrestrial seismic event that happened to arrive at the two LIGO sites within the mandatory 10 msec window for LIGO validation. I will further postulate that all subsequent LIGO-certified gravity wave events (approx 1 per month) are in fact seismic events that reach Hanford and Livingston within that 10 msec window. The LIGO system is just 10 msec filter for seismic events. And the SSX will prove it.

B S Sathyaprakash – a physicist at Cardiff University in the UK and a member of the LIGO collaboration – says the facility is currently functioning at 30 Hz, which was still sufficient to pick up the signal at 410 mpc. Although he admits that a heavier object will last for a shorter time, the signal itself is really strong. During a run, laser light with a wavelength of 1064 nm and a power of 200 W is sent to a beamsplitter, which transmits one half of the light into one of the arms and reflects the rest down the other arm. As each arm itself is a Fabry–Pérot cavity, the light is allowed to bounce back and forth some 400 times in each arm before returning to the beamsplitter. This effectively increases the arm length to nearly 1600 km, boosting aLIGO’s sensitivity. Apart from using a Fabry–Pérot cavity to increase their sensitivity, the interferometers also have a “power-recycling mirror” placed just behind the beamsplitter. This mirror, which is partly reflective, slowly boosts the laser power from 200 W to 750 kW by reflecting nearly all of the laser light back to the beamsplitter and into the arms. Despite all of these upgrades and modifications, even a strong gravitational wave from colliding black holes displaces the mirrors by barely 10E-19 m, making LIGO’s successful detection even more triumphant. *********** NOTE: Displacements of the mirrors in the order of 10E-19 m are 1,000,000,000 times smaller than the average radius of an atom. Such displacement, 10,000,000,000,000 times smaller than the wavelength of the laser beam (superb sensitivity in the interferometer) CAN'T BE explained by changes in the laser's wavelength, as LIGHT SPEED is affected by the GW in unpredictable ways. So, what is allegedly measured, in an indirect way, is the overall effect of: stretching, elongation and bending of the light path, that is directly suffered by the HEAVY arrangement of materials along the 8 Km of LIGO's arms plus the deformation of the four 42 Kg mirrors being used. HOW that effects can cause a bell-shaped FM modulated AUDIO signal, lasting less than half a second, is beyond Earth's science. Considering ALL THE INFLUENCES OF THE SURROUNDING SOURCE OF NOISE, the low bandwidth of the signal connected to GW indicate the HEAVY LOW-PASS FILTERING of all the signals that reach the detector, to dismiss such interferences. Such heavy low-pass filtering of the result of interferometry at the entrance of the detector is the main reason that any detection in higher frequencies of the mixed optical signal previous conversion to electric signal ARE FORBIDDEN (filtered). This is because the sources of noise are COUNTLESS. PLUS, the electrical waveform is CORRELATED (permanently) with a database storing more than 250,000 possible waveforms, which have been THEORETICALLY FORMULATED. LIGO computers are running a 24x7 computing time, using unknown correlation algorithms, TRYING TO FIND the closest match with any of the 250,000+ stored waveforms. Once LIGO got a near match, another HEAVY correlation algorithms are run in order to find THE MAXIMUM CORRELATION with the second LIGO array. If the value of the correlation is above a certain, UNKNOWN value, the sample is registered as a gravitational wave. All this with deviations that make one wonder WHY THE RADIUS OF A PROTON OR ELECTRON has not been measured yet. HOAX! This time, costing 4 billion USD/year since .....

What makes you think we cannot detect gravity from other planets within our solar system? Here, I'll save you some time and trouble. We detect gravity from the entire universe. With so many inputs we cannot isolate any particular planet's gravity because they all merge in what is described in vector theory. It has been clear to me for some time that this is a topic with which you have absolutely no acquaintance but you expound relentlessly anyway. The very premise of your question is wrong. Learn something about physics before attempting to appear expert in the topic. Better yet, find a different hobby, one in which you can achieve instant success. Even the average crank in this newsgroup is decades ahead of you. Here's your problem in a nutshell. When you search to come up with some idea to discuss, you do not know enough about physics to recognize whether your "source" on the internet is actually knowledgeable or whether they're simply making it up as they go along. So you "go in the ditch" with them. Generally I don't much care for biblical quotes but in this case the gospel of Matthew 15:14 provides a highly appropriate text, much more than anything else. The problem is merely you misunderstanding the concept of temperature.
By statistical mechanics the temperature in a given degree of freedom is
kT = 1/2 m <v^2> ,
where < > indicates the average.
In systems where the degrees of freedom are only weakly coupled
different degrees of freedom can have different temperatures.
(until equilibrium reestablishes itself)
This (1 microkelvin) is what is achieved for the LOGO mirrors
by means of an active feedback mechanism.
They are down to 80 nanokelvin in another experiment,
with a smaller pendulum.
