Well, thank you. But I had better get working on the assignment you have given me.
x'=x-vt
y'=y
z'=z
t'=t

I already explained it once as it pertained to an AEW airplane. So let's explain something more modern, a GPS satellite. A GPS satellite has a velocity relative to the earth. Now, according to the Lorentz equations, a clock in a GPS satellite should be slower than an identical clock on earth, but all scientists agree that a clock in a GPS satellite is faster because of the effects of General Relativity. I have shown how the Galilean transformation equations relate to any two clocks that have different rates numerous times. So far you have never comprehended what the equations say, so we will go through it one more time.
x'=x-vt
y'=y
z'=z
t'=t
t is the time of the clock on earth. v is the speed of the satellite according to the clock on earth. Now if the satellite was a train like in Einstein's idea of relativity using the Lorentz equations, then from the moving frame of reference, we would have
x = x' - v'n'
y = y'
z = z'
n = n'
Where n' is the time of a clock in the train. But the motion we have is an orbit, not the motion of a train on a track. Isaac Newton said that the centripetal force for a satellite in orbit would be
F=ma=m(4Pi^2r/t^2)
But from the satellite, the force appears different because the clock in the satellite is faster than a clock on earth. If n' is the time of the clock in the satellite, then the centripetal force appears greater when calculated from the satellite.
Now with regard to the Galilean transformation equations, that does not really matter because distances remain the same in those equations. Measurement of time is what varies. An inch is the same to an observer in a satellite as to an observer on earth, but a second is a different interval of time. Fewer events take place during a second of GPS satellite clock time if the GPS clock is faster. So scientists slow down the GPS clock so that it is the same as a clock on earth and claim that it all proves Einstein's theory.

No you didn't. You can't answer any of the questions I asked about the usage of these equations with the AEW airplane. That says something, doesn't it?

As a person who understands mathematics and physics, I would convert the time of one clock to the time of the other before saying the velocities are equal. Other than that, I would represent the different times and velocities with two different sets of Galilean transformation equations the way the axioms of algebra and laws of physics require. I know how complicated this seems to someone who has faith in modern science.

Sure! And an observer walking a street observes trees and buildings running around them. Or at least, he should observe it if he was a proper observer. Everybody knows that.

Yes, and Odd Bodkin is going to explain the experiment where it was proven that the length contraction exists.

Does your common sense tell you that trees and buildings are stationary, Wozniak? > Or at least, he should observe it if he was a > proper observer. Everybody knows that. I don't believe "proper observer" is in the jargon of relativity. How lovely of you to make it up. -- Odd Bodkin -- maker of fine toys, tools, tables

Just because you're too stupid to know how to measure it doesn't mean everyone else doesn't know how to do so. You're just projecting your own failure onto everyone else.

That's a factual error, Ken. It is both possible AND accomplished. The world actually includes many things you did not know were possible, Seto. -- Odd Bodkin -- maker of fine toys, tools, tables

The Galilean equations don't cut it - they give the wrong answers when high velocities are involved. What we measure, and what the equations predict we'll measure, are different. The relativistic equations give the right answers (absent significant gravitational effects). Beyond that, interpretation of what it means is philosophy, not science. Sylvia.

Robert seem to be using a Doubled Galilean Transformation... which would be mostly valid Similar to this diagram by Thomas Heger....... https://goo.gl/photos/yG9TD5qNhqkNydxT8
