How can speeding up contract one dimension of 3 which together are inseparable? 
NO. This is not even believable... that the universe can go lopsided in
one dimension and somehow that works out in order for the whole of the
hypersphere boundary closed universe...

Like the thread title how can even our own body motion do it to the rest
around you local close and nonlocal far away in curved distance?

You could arrive much faster by that contracted direction and slow rate...
that speed programs in Gamma math.
Why would space contract behind you?
Twins passing each other have a difference in rate and kinetic energy
by their own local motions like your body(similar to light's having its own speed)
The rest of material has its own local motions. Atom's have mathematical absolute speeds that program their rate and energies.

Relativity ought to be questioned by the genius...
and John Nash did...

Einstein's 1905 paper addendum shows the absolute space was his option.
The world though held him to his most complicated and were his judge.
He is proven right in history by quantum mechanics leaving statistics
behind for another higher mathematical order.

The world had to be as smart as their genius and that is not reality.
But they need to know as the world got it wrong in rejecting absolute order
for something less.

Spreading out is expansion...

Space itself contracts. But you're comparing Entropy to thermodynamics and expansion. The association is backward...

Space contraction by local motion cannot shrink the universe..
One dimension out of three would be lopsided.
This is not universal order. It is false. Something
else is happening.

That is upside down. The contraction effects is considered relativistic.

Relativistic contraction is part of attempt by popular science authors 
to explain in words something that can really only be properly explained 
using mathematics. In the process, they sow much misunderstanding of 
what relativity is about.

Nothing gets shortened, squeezed, squashed, or whatever, as a result of 
relativity. That's not what it says. But you really have to study the 
math to grasp it.

Then where is the contraction? If you can't say where it is
of what evidence of proof do you have from that theory?

The only contraction is temporal. Time order slows down
in gravity strength and shared atom's motion. Gravity and motions
both slow rate for the atom.

Special relativity describes the relationship between measurements made 
in one frame and the corresponding measurements made in another frame. 
In general, the results vary in different frames, and where a result 
comes from measuring a length, there is a tendency for the popular 
science media to describe the lower result as being a contraction.

But it really isn't, and there are no physical changes.

As I said, you need to study the math to grasp it.

For such an important theory, the math is very straight forward (compare 
and contrast with quantum mechanics). There's really no excuse for not 
studying it before expounding on it.

it forms a reference frame in front of you, 
and seems to draw with in your surroundings.

That's of course a relativistic effect and 
not in classical regimes, where the faster 
you go the more you leave.  It is that 
getting up to 0.5c sees your presence drawing 
all what's behind you would have light going 
away from it at c.

If space contracts why is there an opposite appearance of
motion around you when you begin to move?
On the freeway things in the distance slow down in
their appearance of backward movement.

It doesn't, with a "flat" space-time, or for 
Einstein's greatest "blunder":  the cosmological 
constant, being a mathematical infinitesimal.

Mathematics _owes_ physics what this is.

Space is pretty much flat, and mostly quite 
full of stuff (even where it's very sparse 
in the hard vacuum of space), space-time isn't 
"flat" nor "curved" - it's right in the middle.
