No. This sentence displays the confusion perfectly.
Take a sphere with its spherical metric. Its geodesics are great circles.
Nobody obtains spherical geometry by first taking Euclidean circles and
then CALLING them straight lines.
The metric determines the geodesics.
And "great circle" and "straight line" aren't even contradictory here:
the first describes the set as embedded in Euclidean 3-space; the second,
if used, describes its intrinsic geodesic role on the surface.
An ant constrained to the sphere and following a geodesic does not turn
left or right within its surface merely because YOU, looking from R^3,
see a circle.
So after several rounds we have finally located the problem:
extrinsic Euclidean shape = circle
intrinsic geodesic = "straight"
You see two descriptions and think mathematicians renamed one into the
other.
They didn't.
And then you repeat exactly the same category error with clocks.
Even better, after being given references, your response was literally
that you didn't read them.
This is no longer a disagreement about advanced mathematics.
It's a refusal to learn the elementary mathematics required for your
own analogy.

Compelling.
We have now reduced your mathematical argument to:
Maciej: Lobachevsky proved circles are straight lines.
References: No.
Differential geometry: No.
History: No.
Maciej: YES, TRASH, YES.
For the last time: on a sphere, great circles are geodesics of the
spherical metric. Nobody obtains Riemannian geometry by renaming
Euclidean circles "straight lines".
The metric determines the geodesics. The vocabulary doesn't determine
the metric.
But I think we've reached the useful end of this discussion.
Anyone curious can open a differential geometry textbook.
Anyone preferring your proof can reread:
"Yes, trash, yes."
The contrast is sufficiently educational.

"Differential Geometry" is commonly "Partial Differential Geometry", and not just partial-differential, yet partial-geometry, its accounts of holonomy and monodromy aren't the rest of the field's, its accounts of "function" are bereft flat lines or zero tangents, "partial differential geometry" is a simple milieu for a class of numerical methods, those being approximations with non-zero error terms, vis-a-vis, "total differential geometry".

"geometry"???? there are no lines in space! There is no linear in space.. no circles no triangles no squares, etc none of those shapes you people use a crayon to draw shapes with. dat pyramid in egypt... those are earth measurements.. people project unto space.. but they don't exist! You know, with all dis math and physics.. attempt to put together yous created a fake world dat don't exist out there. In other words, there is no Physics. yous made it all up! Well, depending on the precision you want - a point may be London or Trafalgar Square in London or the Nelson's column or the left eye of Nelson statue or... Of course, they're all geocentric examples, ECI or heliocentric space have different sets of points.

So after several days of:
"objective physics"
"objective reality"
"objective software"
we finally learn that by "objective" you meant:
object-oriented.
As in programming.
I withdraw my objections.
Your physics does indeed appear to have been written in C++.
Unfortunately, reality keeps throwing type errors.

Nope. Usually "objective" means something else. But when combined with "software" it's this meaning.
