Some of us got it all along but saw no need to comment on a lame joke
lifted from Garrison Keillor.

Since I have vaguely heard the name but have never heard/read/seen him
I could hardly 'lift' anything from him could I?

I am simply betting on the stupidity of the liberal left loons.

Maybe not directly, but the introduction to every episode of his radio
show, "A Prairie Home Companion," described the imaginary town of Lake
Woebegon as a place where "all the children are above average."

So you may have come up with it independently, but it's still a gag
most of us heard a long time ago.

Thus proving there is nothing new under the sun.

I don't consider it a gag - I consider it an accurate representation
of the Loony Left.

Garrison Keillor had a radio show, and one of his ongoing schticks was
describing events in a town where "all the children were above
average". The joke has traveled a lot further than the rest of his
fame, and gets paraphrased by many people who don't know him.

Dan Quayle wasn't joking. He was a complete idiot - on another
occasion he said he wished he'd learned Latin so he could speak the
local language in Latin America.

Latin girls are Spanish girls. They speak Spanish, not Latin.

In other words, Spanish girls don't speak Latin, they speak Spanish.

Latin girls speak...Spanish.

If a guy says he wish he knew how to speak Lating, he really
means...Spanish.

Comprende?

chica chica chica...cha cha cha...salsa...

I dance latin. I'm a latin dancer. What does that mean? I dance like the
Romans do???? dumb dumb dumb. estupido!

I gotta go to ancient Rome to learn Latin dancing!

MAMBO!!!!

I always wondered what the Romans dance steps were like...dancing with
the romans.

Julius Ceasar was a salsa dancer!

How come I'm finding out this stuff for the first time?

Any Latin dancers out there?

I meant it as a reflection of what I consider the Insane Left and did
not knowingly repeat anything I had previously heard.

I actually expect some idiot to suggest this - they think taking
everything from anyone who has earned an income to give it to people
who are incapable of supporting themselves is a solution to something
other than a way to buy votes.

But the kid can't help it--he doesn't know any better. It's his parents
that deserve to go to Hell.

I think one function of a belief in an interfering god and a hell is
that faith that the bastards will go there gives enough solace that we
don't just kill the bastards ourselves.
