In other words, scientists discovered the Galilean Transform didn't
apply to those situations.

So many different clocks would work, so there would be a number of
clocks that could be used. Or after the two transforms, there are multiple
different answers. This, of course, violates the Galilean Transform itself
since it provides only ONE answer for the value of t (or n, or whatever).
So, one of these clocks has to be special somehow, and the only way it can
be special is if it has some physics connection to the t' clock. The
missing Winn transform, which you won't supply.
I'll give you a hint: There is a special clock. It is t'. Or, if you
prefer, you can use an ideal clock that keeps perfect lockstep with t'. Or
in other words, an ideal clock, not a broken clock. You can even paint
"n'" on it if you want. And using the Galilean Transform, you get n=n'
for this clock in the frame S, and using simple algebra, we have the
equations:
t'=t (Galilean Transform #1)
n'=t' (n' is an ideal clock, just like t, we got smart and ignore/trash
999 broken clocks)
n=n' (Galilean Transform #2)
Which can be simplified using ordinary algebra: n'=t, and n=t, and we get
the same time in both frames S and S'. That's a feature of the Galilean
Transform, it has the same time everywhere, throughout the entire
universe. No time dilation possible, ever. Because t'=t.
