The integral of cos^2(x) is 1/2 * (x + sin(x) * cos(x)) + constant. At the limits, the sin(x) * cos(x) term is zero, leaving just 1/2 *(Pi/2) - 1/2 * 0 or Pi/4. Sylvia.
