Albert Einstein sent a letter recommending Klaus Fuchs to work at the Manhattan Project...


Here are excepts of the fbi file on einstein:

Einstein was the one who requested Fuchs  assignment to him

Einstein had sent for him to help work on the atom bomb 

Professor Einstein, after reading the younger Fuchs  papers on nuclear energy, considered him valuable to the Allied war effort
