Hi,

These issues are at the core of cognitive science
and artifical intelligence. A milestone was for
example the Cognitive Revolution, leaving behind

Skinners behaviorism of simple stimulus/response:

Herbert Simon took it into economics:

But system intelligence now talks of blast radius,
and looks at ecosystems of software repositories.
So its clearly not anymore individual psychology

nor single software agent problems, or individual
freedom and accountablity. We are in the mists of
rediscovering distributed artificial intelligence

research and social psychology. So a Terrence Tao
giving machete djungle advice on an individual level,
is surely a lame joke, to say the least.

He doesn't know what he is talking about. And as a
top mathematician he could surely do better!
