1. Does anyone in academia use any Usenet hierarchies nowadays? Which ones? 2. Aside from cryptography@metzdowd are there any good email discussion lists? 3. Where else do cryptographers (academic and amateur) congregate online? 4. For preprints I know of IACR and ArXiv. Are there any other preprint servers with interesting papers worth spending time to read? 5. Besides membership in IACR are there any other journals or groups worth paying a membership for? I would like to find print (dead tree) journals worth adding to my library. Some of the ones I have checked out are full of fluff that I don't want to spend money on sifting. -- ███████████████████████████████████ █░░░░░░░░░░░█░░░░░░░░███░░░░░░░░███ █░░███████░░█░░████░░███░░████░░███ [chan] 711 █░░░░░░░██░░█░░░░██░░███░░░░██░░███ spooky mart ██████░░██░░███░░██░░█████░░██░░███ always open ██████░░██░░███░░██░░█████░░██░░███ stay spooky ██████░░██░░█░░░░██░░░░█░░░░██░░░░█ https://bitmessage.org ██████░░██░░█░░██████░░█░░██████░░█ ██████░░░░░░█░░░░░░░░░░█░░░░░░░░░░█ ███████████████████████████████████
