This seems like a no-brainer to me: obviously a good idea.  The
*absence* of comp.lang.rust makes the comp.* hierarchy appear
nonfunctional.  Rust is one of the currently most important programming
languages, and although there are centralized companies like Reddit with
popular Rust forums, Usenet has advantages that those companies never
will.
