Proof that Marion (Arlen) has successfully turned this newsgroup into
another shitty *advocacy troll newsgroup.

My goal on this childish newsgroup has always been obvious & well known.

A. To help answer questions & to ask questions to be answered, and,
B. To teach people what Apple's strategy is & what Apple trolls are

On the adult operating system newsgroups, my goal is only A but not B.

PS: I wonder what effect Alan Browne had on the newsgroup by publicly
leaving, where the only Apple troll I kind of sort of miss is nospam
(because he was the only Apple troll who actually knew anything at all).

Almost all of those seem like topics related to the group. At least they’re
not political bullshit which have destroyed most other groups.

Almost all o them are weak trolls based on lies. You aren't fooling
anyone, just sticking up for your best troll buddy (as usual, in the
weakest way possible).

For decades, in OS-focused newsgroups, Apple trolls exhibit obeisant blind
loyalty to Apple's decisions which I term, herd behavior.

What the Apple trolls want is deflection from criticism by focusing only on
superficial updates, new emojis, colors and vague "magical" features.

Jolly Roger desires only groupthink that discourages dissent or skepticism.
If you question Apple's motives, you're not a member of Jolly Roger's herd.

Hi badgolferman,

I understand your terminology, and we've both been on Usenet for decades.
But I think Apple enthusiasts often respond with a unique intensity or
defensiveness when Apple is criticized, compared to other tech ecosystems.

What sets Apple aficionados apart isn't just brand loyalty alone, as it's
the quasi-religious fervor with which they defend the company. There's a
kind of tribal orthodoxy at play, where dissent isn't merely disagreed
with, it's treated as heresy.

Criticize Android or Microsoft, and you might spark a debate.
Criticize Apple and you risk excommunication from the cult of Cupertino.

This isn't just fan enthusiasm. It's a marketing-fueled identity fusion,
where Apple isn't just a product, it's a worldview.

For example, any reaction from Jolly Roger isn't proportional to the
critique; it's visceral, often absolutist. You don't see that same
reflexive denial or ideological gatekeeping in Android or Windows circles.

On what I call the adult OS newsgroups, disagreement is tolerated.
Here, it's policed by the very Apple trolls who defend Apple to the death.

You're a dogmatic zealot that stops at nothing to support your "facts".

Let's not forget this completely fake table you posted last month. I know
you keep refusing to acknowledge this, but you did post it and you always
claim you only deal with facts.

<105fq1r$2md5i$1@dont-email.me>
"Back to the efficiency thing, these are the results from just one lab in
the UK, the "Tech Chap Lab", who tested these ten flagship devices.

<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TiLNpIWNCQk>
1. Xiaomi 15 Ultra | 5000 | 47h30m | 5.7 | A
2. Galaxy S25 Edge | 3786 | 32h20m | 8.2 | A
3. Pixel 9 Pro XL | 5050 | 41h50m | 5.0 | B
4. iPhone 16 Pro Max | 4422 | 36h10m | 8.2 | B
5. Xiaomi 15 Pro | 4800 | 39h40m | 4.9 | B
6. Galaxy S25 Ultra | 4855 | 38h10m | 4.7 | B
7. OnePlus 13 | 6000 | 49h00m | 4.9 | B
8. Honor Magic7 RSR | 5100 | 42h30m | 5.0 | B
9. Vivo X200 Pro Mini | 4700 | 37h40m | 4.8 | B
10. Asus Zenfone 12 Ultra | 5000 | 39h10m | 4.7 | B"

Are you going to own up to this absolute falsehood or are going to get
badgolferman to defend you again?

I challenge badgolferman to spot how many errors there are in the table, in
particular with respect to the reference in the yt link.

Don't hold your breath. He's too busy slobbering all over Arlen's little
peepee to bother. At best he'll just dismiss it and "let it go" again.

What's interesting (and quite different) about you, Jolly Roger, is that of
all the Apple trolls, you're the most viscerally reactive-almost
emotionally invested to the point of personal offense whenever someone
voices a critical observation about Apple.

It's not just disagreement you voice; it's a kind of performative outrage,
often laced with juvenile insults and deflections that resemble schoolyard
taunts more than reasoned debate.

It's one thing to be passionate about a brand, but your responses suggest a
deeper need to silence dissent rather than engage with it.

Ironically, the truth doesn't disappear just because it makes you
uncomfortable. If anything, your hostility only underscores the validity of
the criticisms.
