Hi folks, version number for tzdata in bullseye is 2024b-0+deb11u1, but for bookworm it is still 2024a-0+deb12u1. This seems weird. Shouldn't the bookworm version number be "newer" than the bullseye version? Regards Harri

hobbit:~$ apt policy tzdata
tzdata:
Installed: 2024b-0+deb12u1
Candidate: 2024b-0+deb12u1
Version table:
*** 2024b-0+deb12u1 500
500 http://deb.debian.org/debian bookworm-updates/main amd64 Packages
500 http://deb.debian.org/debian bookworm-updates/main i386 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
2024a-0+deb12u1 500
500 http://deb.debian.org/debian bookworm/main amd64 Packages
500 http://deb.debian.org/debian bookworm/main i386 Packages
Perhaps you're missing the bookworm-updates source? It's optional,
but recommended.
