Since I use the last testing kernel images (4.14 but also 4.13), Intel 
speedstep technology doesn't work anymore on my Thinkpad X220. It works 
however perfectly fine with the 4.12 kernel image.

I use Debian testing (Buster at the moment) and my system is up to date.

#60060 — Bug#887389: Bug solved

On Buster (testing at the moment), with the last 4.14 linux kernel 
image, speedstep works again correctly :)

We can say the bug is solved.
