Package: firmware-realtek Version: 20201118-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, Bluetooth doesn't work at all. It is not appearing as a device in bluetoothctl or bluedevil. From what I can tell, `dmesg` even reports that the firmware loaded successfully. [ 21.488979] bluetooth hci0: firmware: direct-loading firmware rtl_bt/rtl8822cu_fw.bin [ 21.489472] bluetooth hci0: firmware: direct-loading firmware rtl_bt/rtl8822cu_config.bin) Updating packages and using a kernel from unstable did not fix the issue. The expected outcome is for the Bluetooth device to be detected with the ability to pair with other devices. -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.10.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled firmware-realtek depends on no packages. firmware-realtek recommends no packages. Versions of packages firmware-realtek suggests: ii initramfs-tools 0.139 -- no debconf information

Interestingly enough, I had a (probably unrelated) issue where WPA_Supplicant, plasmashell, and kworker were using 100% CPU, forcing me to reboot. And now upon reboot my Bluetooth works perfectly fine. I swear I didn't do anything else. Issue fixed on my end.
