Setting "dm_mod.use_blk_mq=0 scsi_mod.use_blk_mq=0" allows to boot.

$ cat /sys/bus/scsi/devices/0\:0\:0\:0/model
Crucial_CT1050MX
$ cat /sys/bus/scsi/devices/0\:0\:0\:0/rev
R040

I have laptop-mode-tools installed too.
