Wenn Nichtwähler irgendeinen Einfluß hätten, würde das Wahlergebnis zu fast 100% von den unzähligen Milliarden Menschen abhängen, die es nicht gibt. Wenn der Einfluß seher klein ist, hängen wir einfach noch ein paar hundert Nullen dran.

Und da das absurd ist - du könntest vermutlich nicht mal eine Zahl Nichtexistierender angeben, die z. B. zu einem 50%igen Einfluß führen würde - kann ihr Einfluß nur Null sein, denn nur dann ergibt sich in der Multiplikation mit einer beliebigen Zahl Null.

Und da das absurd ist - ... könnte man aus meiner Antwort auf Lars schon entnommen haben, dass ich durch konsequente, überspitzende Fortsetzung seiner Argumentation deren Absurdität aufzeigen wollte. Es ging ja ursprünglich darum, dass Lars alle Wähler für die resultierende Regierung verantwortlich macht. Auf abstrakte Weise kann man so argumentieren, es macht aber keinen wirklichen Sinn, und man muss dann zumindest eben konsequenterweise auch alle Nichtwähler mitverantwortlich machen, wie ich argumentierte. Um mal wieder zurück zum eigentlichen Thema zu kommen, sehe ich eine klare Abstufung der moralischen Berechtigung, sich über die aktuelle Regierung zu beschweren: Am meisten Recht haben die, die für andere Parteien gestimmt haben, denn sie haben damit aktiv das ihnen bei der Wahl Mögliche gegen das Zustandekommen der Regierung getan. Mittelmäßiges Recht haben die, die nicht oder ungültig gewählt haben, denn sie haben in erster Näherung weder etwas für noch gegen das Zustandekommen der Regierung getan. (Eine etwaige stillschweigende Unterstützung von Seiten der Nichtwähler hängt dann IMHO auch davon ab, wie vorhersehbar das Ergebnis war. Ändert aber an dieser groben Einteilung nichts.) Am wenigsten Recht haben die, die die Regierungsparteien gewählt haben. Aus Gründen.

Den Einwand verstehe ich nicht. Es ging mir darum, dass die bewusste Entscheidung, nichts zu tun, wenn man etwas tun könnte, auch eine Verantwortung für diese Entscheidung birgt. Wieviele und welche alternativen Optionen es daneben gibt, spielt dafür keine Rolle. Eine Wertung der Optionen war nicht beabsichtigt.

Ja, da passt dann auch die rechtliche Analogie, um die ging es mir aber halt garnicht. Das Thema des Subthreads begann mit moralischer Verantwortung, nämlich inwieweit diverse Wahlverhalten ein Recht auf spätere Beschwerden bedingen. Der juristische Rahmen ist da nicht wirklich relevant.

Vereinfacht hast du die Wahl zu helfen oder nicht zu helfen, und bei Nichthilfe stirbt der Typ. Bei der Wahl hast du, ähnlich vereinfacht, die Wahl zwischen A oder B, und keiner weiß, ob A oder B das Land ins Paradies oder in die Hölle befördert. Ich seh da ziemlich wenige Parallelen zu der Sache mit der Hilfeleistung. Hanno

Die Parallele ist die, dass jeweils die Wahl, nichts zu tun, verfügbar ist, und dass die Entscheidung, diese Option zu wählen, zum Ergebnis beiträgt und man für diese Entscheidung die Verantwortung trägt. Völlig neutral ohne Wertung betrachtet. Denn allein das wurde ja im Thread schon bestritten. Ich habe das Beispiel gebracht, um zu zeigen, dass in anderen Zusammenhängen selbstverständlich der Option des Nichtstuns eine Verantwortung zugewiesen wird, weil es zum Ergebnis beigetragen hat. Unabhängig davon, ob das in dem Beispiel jetzt gut oder schlecht war.

Die Regierungsbildung nach der Wahl ist doch kein Zufallsereignis, das ausschließlich davon abhängt, ob überhaupt irgendjemand gewählt hat. Die gewählten Parteien sind nicht an ihre Wahlversprechen gebunden, weder konkrete Handlungen noch Koalitionsaussagen. Manchmal passiert das Gegenteil vom Versprochenen, manche Optionen stehen überhaupt nicht zur Wahl, manche nur im Bündel mit anderem unakzeptablen Kram. Hinterher werden "Kompromisse" gemacht, es gibt "Sachzwänge", es ist alles "alternativlos", notfalls wird geltendes Recht ignoriert. Siehst du momentan an der bisherigen laschen Behandlung des Dieselabgasproblems durch die deutsche Politik. Es wird Auswirkungen auf alle Branchen unserer Volkswirtschaft haben, angefangen von den Dividenden, die VW wg. der Strafzahlungen nicht an den Großaktionär Niedersachsen zahlen kann.
