Da muss sich in der Betriebswirtschaftslehre einiges geändert haben seit
meiner Schulzeit:

Angebot keiner als Nachfrage: Preise steigen
Angebot größer als Nachfrage: Preise steigen

So haben sie uns das damals in Wirtschaftskunde nicht erklärt.
