Ich behaupte, dass man mit der heutigen Technik ein echtes 3l-Auto bauen kann und die Politik das forcieren sollte, z.B. durch Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzung auf der Autobahn, oder Steuerklasse nach tatsächlichem Treibstoffverbrauch statt nach "Schadstoffklasse", oder von mir aus sogar mit stufenweiser Erhöhung des Spritpreises. Wenn ich den Spritverbrauch halbiere, halbiere ich den Schadstoffausstoß, diese einfache Weisheit beschäftigt sogar Gerichte - Thema "Fahrverbote".

Hier war es mal ein Kadett E Dieselkombi, der mit seinem Lärm nervte. Ebenso leistungsschwach, aber das Fahrverhalten (gefühlte Sicherheit) war ansonsten wirklich nicht schlecht. Und dieses billige Brot-und-Butter-Auto ließ sich hier im Flachland problemlos mit deutlich unter 6l/100km bewegen, manchmal kam auch was mit unter 5 heraus. Auch bei, im Rahmen der Möglichkeiten, durchaus zügiger Fahrweise. Rainer -- Wenn Du eine Platte brauchst, dann kaufe sie jetzt. Oder morgen. Oder wann immer Du sie wirklich brauchst, denn irgendwann muss man sterben und den Tag darauf ist es sowieso billiger ;-) (Christian Dürrhauer in de.comp.hardware.laufwerke.festplatten)

Ja, mein Kombi mit 2.0 TDI hat bisher auch noch nie eine 6 vor dem Komma beim Verbrauch gehabt, es war im Verbrauchsschnitt immer eine 5, selten auch mal eine 4. Bei zügiger Fahrweise (also auch mal Autobahn, frei) ist das mit einem kleinen Benziner nicht zu wollen (Differenz im Energiegehalt zwischen Benzin und Diesel berücksichtigt, also 6,x beim Benziner). Kenne vorallem das Gegenteil. Ich hatte mal den Billigpolo aus der Zeit eines der vielen Qualitätstiefs von VW zur Verfügung, war nicht lustig. Beim Losfahren fühlte sich das manchmal sportlich an, war aber Einbildung. 1. Gang, Bleifuss wrooooaaam, Motor heult kräftig los, 2. Gang, dito, wrooooaaaaam, irgendwie macht es Spass, 3. Ein Kunde wollte seinen 11 Jahre alten VW-Lupo gegen ein sparsameres Modell eintauschen, aber der VW-Händler hatte nur weniger effiziente Wagen im Angebot. Der Kunde hat dann den Händler gefragt, was die Ingenieure denn die letzten 11 Jahre gemacht haben, aber der Händler konnte auch nur noch den Kopf schütteln. Meiner Meinung nach ist das ein Armutszeugnis für den Autohersteller. Wenn eine Technik schon serienreif, aber etwas teuer ist, sollte man das doch nach 11 Jahren in den Griff bekommen, oder zumindest zum selben Preis weiterproduzieren können. Was war denn an diesem Lupo so teuer? Ein spezieller Motor? Oder eine Karosserie aus teurem, leichtem Material?
