Danke für den Tipp, dann schau ich am Wochenende mal, wie ich die Dinger am schmerzlosesten aufkriege, in Zukunft werden es wohl besser Monitore mit externen Netzteilen... ;-). M. --

Die meisten haben sowas intern und selbst wenn finden sich innen trotzdem noch diverse Schaltregler die aus den extern gelieferten +12V (meist) die anderen Spannungen erzeugen und dafür Elkos brauchen. Seitdem es Digicams gibt haben solche Zerlegungsaktionen ihren Schrecken verloren. Man macht einfach von jedem Schritt ein Foto. Achja... das Stichwort 'Picofuse' ist hier wichtig. Die Dinger kann man glatt übersehen oder für einen Widerstand halten. Gerrit

Die Festplatte machte heute morgen nur noch Anlaufversuche ... zzzing .. zzzing ... so ein Driss. Ok, ist ueber 10 Jahre alt und das nennt man heutzutage ja schon "viel". Ist alles lueckenlos backed up, Arbeit geht also ungebremst weiter, aber an einem verregneten Samstag darf ich wohl auf Elko-Suche gehen. Oder ganz dekadent irgendeine Silicon Disk als Ersatz beschaffen. Nach 10 Jahren auch kein Wunder, kaputte Lager, etc. Sollte komplett ausgetauscht werden, selbst wenn man eine Elektronik bekäme, ist eine Reparatur keine gute Idee. Marc

Anfangs konnte ich sie noch einmal normal hochlaufen lassen, indem ich statt dem Taster den Versorgungsstecker abzog und wieder reinsteckte. Jetzt geht nix mehr. Ist aber ok, ich muss mal sehen, ob man nicht guenstig ein "nacktes" NAS bekommen kann mit USB und SD Card Slots, in die ich eigene Medien stoepseln kann. Da ich nicht weit vom teilweisen Ruhestand bin, lohnt die Anschaffung edlerer Geraete wie der von Tom Malkus vorgeschlagenen Synology nicht.
