An alle Antworter: Efi-Partition war wohl nicht die richtige 
Bezeichnung. Ich wollte mit efibootmgr die Darstellung so haben, wie 
Marco sie gezeigt hat. Inzwischen habe ich das mit LinuxMint 21 (auf 
gleicher Hardware) versucht und erhalte:

hoefner@hoefner-MS-7C56:~$ efibootmgr
BootCurrent: 0004
Timeout: 1 seconds
BootOrder: 0004,0002,0003
Boot0002* Hard Drive
Boot0003* CD/DVD Drive
Boot0004* ubuntu

Bei den gleichen Eingaben unter LinuxMint 22.1 erhalte ich keine 
zeileweise Ausgabe sondern alles hängt zusammen und die obige Ausgabe 
hat bei den Boot000x* noch eine Menge Zeichen dahinter.
