Ich hatte auch mal Haiku über GRUB gebootet.

Man muss GRUB nur die Partition (oder UUID) angeben. Man kann es auch
sein lassen und auf ein Kernel-Update des "Haupt-Linux" warten, was
Einträge in GRUB dabei erkennt und aktualisiert.
