Flash-Speicher definieren eine Grenze an Schreiboperationen (Drive Writes Per Day, Terabyte Written Total, etc.). Wer die professionell einsetzt, überwacht das, tauscht proaktiv und hat im Zweifel ein Backup. Ich wüsste nicht, was da in die Presse kommen sollte. Die zugrundeliegenden Speicher erlaubten früher, als es noch SLC war, 100k Program/Erase-Zyklen pro Block. So ein paar Teile hab ich mal durch Dauerbetrieb erfolglos kaputtzuschreiben versucht. Bei TLC sind das mit Glück noch 3000 P/E-Zyklen. Also über 10 Jahre Lebenszeit weniger als 1 Drive Write Per Day. Und auch bei SLC war die Lebensdauer nur garantiert, wenn man den Verlust von 2% der Daten einplant. Festplatten werden andererseits ähnliche Probleme haben, nur redet man da nicht so offen drüber.
