Hab gerade ohne Fehler Mails über Arcor versendet und empfangen.  
imap.arcor.de bzw. mail.arcor.de, SSL-Einstellungen auf "Standard".

Eingestellt/gestorben ist Becky jedenfalls glücklicherweise nicht,  
Updates gab es in den letzten Jahren IMHO öfter als bei Thunderbird.
