One mistyping... The Single QS was not a 1,25ghz but a 1,4ghz. All 3 QSs 
were upgraded with GigaDesigns CPUs. I have not messed around with any 
kind of open firmware, - but they booted from an external USB drive with 
clones of the different systems - made with CarbonCopy Cloaner.

I don't know whether the accompagning GigaDesigns software made any 
changes to the firmware or not, but a fact is - they booted!
