Older MBP now will not fire up, and charger is showing green, but battery indicator will only pulse rapidly on first light emitter. (Battery was replaced several years ago.) Battery also took a charge and worked all right for an older one just ten days ago, even showing all five lights as fully charged. Is there something that'll induce a charge? Someway to 'shock' it into working? I'd rather not spend for a new battery, and one thought is that at a Genius Bar they'd pop in a working battery to see the state of affairs. -- John McWilliams I know that you believe you understood what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
