It would be nice if you knew just a LITTLE about the subject before you 
chimed in.

Garageband: an application for creating music that is installed on SOME Macs.

Dashboard: rightly or wrongly, an integral part of the OS as 
constituted and which weighs in at all of 1.2MB on disk.

The 'silly "@" on a spring icon' hasn't been used in YEARS.

So you're removing icons from the default Dock and you think that is 
doing much?

What would you put in the Dock from the beginning, and why are your 
choices better?
