Actually, Alan Baker did respond to JF Mezei in a civil manner. Apparently, you are referencing Alan's response to "Your Name", who said that things like GarageBand, Dashboard, and so on are Apple-installed "bloatware", which is an incorrect characterization of those programs in the opinions of the many folks who do find them to be useful. It's no surprise you made this mistake in attribution since you posted from the Google Groups interface, which hides quoting and attributions by default. That's no excuse though. It's certainly not hard to figure out who says what to whom - even with the Google Groups interface. All you have to do, after all, is click the little link that says "show quoted text".
