As far as I know, Apple is not doing (as we call it in the VMS world)
break-in evasion.  I think it'd be good if they did, even though there
is some risk of it being used in a denial of service attack.  The VMS
default is after three failed login attempts, you're locked out (even
with the real password) for 15 minutes.
