Type this into a terminal window and paste the results here:

ls -l /System/Library/Frameworks/

Try this:

1. Shut down the computer.

2. Hold down the Alt/Option key on the keyboard.

3. While the key is held down, start up the computer. You should
eventually see a list of volumes. One should be the Mac OS X "Recovery
HD" volume. 

4. Select the recovery volume and click the arrow below it to start the
computer on the recovery volume. You should then see the Mac OS X
Utilities screen, where you'll have the option of re-installing Mac OS
X.
