I'm confused as to why you are having a hard time finding this, and have
to wonder what exactly you've tried so far in your search. 

It almost sounds as if you do not want to use Apple's built-in software
update facility (Apple menu > Software Update). Are you averse to using
that for some reason?

Anyhow, a simple Google search shows a hit on support.apple.com named
"OS X Mountain Lion Update v10.8.4 - Apple - Support - Downloads".
Clicking that leads you here, where you can manually download and
install said update (and even some newer ones):

In general, I would encourage you to use the latest available release.

If you are willing to use 10.8, then you should strongly consider
upgrading to 10.9, which fixes a whole lot of issues that people
complained about when 10.8 was released. In a lot of ways, 10.9 is a big
round of fixes for issues introduces in 10.8.
